06 Feb GC XXI. “Whom shall I send?” “Here we are, Lord.”
We began today with the Eucharist and the Gospel invitation to put out into the deep. Father Josemi Colina, SJ, invited us to alter Peter’s words; instead of saying, “Depart from me,” we wish to say to Jesus, “Stay with us, for we are small, fragile, and sinful.”
With the desire to be open to the Spirit, we now enter into the discernment process for the election of the Assistants. The election will take place on the 11th. Until then, we count on your prayers for us and for the whole Institute.
