INTERMEDIATE MEETING VIII Yesterday, 20th January, in the house of XX Settembre - Rome, Intermediate Meeting VIII was formally opened.The Superior General, S. Inmaculada Fukasawa, stated in her opening speech that this Meeting is marked in a special way by the presence of Saint Raphaela Mary at this time when the Church is bestowing this new honor on her person and charism.
In the Intermediate Meeting the Superior General, the Assistant Generals, and the Major Superiors gather together as one body for the apostolic, universal mission; during this meeting they will evaluate aspects of the life and mission of the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and will also suggest lines of action for the future.
Sr. Inmaculada ended her message asking Mary to accompany the participants, to help them to keep Jesus at the center of this meeting and to show them how to live in accord with the interests of His Heart in this second decade of the third millenium.
