Since this Sunday 12th of July, our sisters from A Since this Sunday 12th of July, our sisters from Africa (Cameroon and DR Congo) have begun their regional congregation in Kinshasa, Congo. 🙏🇨🇩
We’re praying for them during this important time — a time to listen to the Spirit and discern the direction He wants us to take. May it all be for His greater glory, and may the fruits shine through every person we meet and every mission entrusted to us. ✨
AMDG!
Last video of our vocation series, with Montse and Last video of our vocation series, with Montse and Jessica!
They share with us who Saint Raphaela Mary, our foundress, is for them — and what she continues to inspire in them today.
💬 What advice, according to Jessica, would Saint Raphaela Mary have given to a sister? The answer is in the video!
Happy watching 🎧

In the Northern Hemisphere, it’s summertime — that In the Northern Hemisphere, it’s summertime — that special season when we finally have more time.
We take the chance to do what we didn’t have time for during the year: travel, spend time with friends, family… And it’s often then that we see most clearly how present God is, in every moment!
But it’s good to set aside space for Him alone too. To take time to be silent, to let Him speak to our heart. After an often intense rhythm throughout the year, this time of re-centering is precious.

Will you take the step? 🙏 Write “SUMMER” in the comments and we’ll send you two prayers you can read and pray with.
Read the Bible too!

Have a wonderful summer, and happy praying!
(And for those in the Southern Hemisphere: you can ask for the
prayers too!)
New beginnings on the journey! On the feast of Sa New beginnings on the journey!

On the feast of Saints Peter and Paul, four of our postulants entered the novitiate in the Philippines (Tandang Sora). Two are from Congo (Félicité and Exaucée), one from Timor (Mónica),and the fourth is our first vocation from Indonesia (Ulin). Each one was given a cross and a plant. The plant is a symbol representing her vocation. They must care for it, with the help of the community. Before their entrance, they lived through a few days of triduum that prepared them much more deeply within.
So begins this time of deep discernment and confirmation of their vocation.

We pray earnestly for this time of deepening, that the Lord may accompany them, and that we may accompany them too with our prayers.

On the feast of the Sacred Heart, Khatlyn and Kie April, two young Filipino women, began their postulancy in our house in Naga.
And in the feast of Saint Thomas, Princia and Sanjita from India began their postulancy in the community of Snehanilayam, Cochin, Kerala.

Thank you, Lord, and God’s blessings on each one’s journey! We pray for you all.
Our sisters in vows and our junior sisters from Ja Our sisters in vows and our junior sisters from Japan, Timor, Vietnam, and the Philippines have gathered in Vietnam to begin, on July 3rd, their personalized spiritual exercises. They are about thirty sisters in all!
Let us pray for them and for this time of grace opening up before them, that they may allow themselves to be shaped ever more by Christ, to serve and love Him better.

Leave them a word from your country in the comments!
Come, come with me to a quiet place. This is God’s Come, come with me to a quiet place.
This is God’s invitation to our six novices to step out of the world and be shaped by Him.
“In your presence, God of each day, love of all loves, oh Jesus, You who shape us, oh Spirit reveal to us that we are your weaving.”
The Lord is calling our six novices from the community of Montevideo, Uruguay, to begin their Month-long Retreat this Friday, July 3rd.
It will be a time for each of them —Macarena (Maqui) and Milena (Mile) from Argentina, Teresa (Tete), Eva and Mariana from Portugal, and Hellen from Chile— to let themselves be shaped deeply: through Christ, with Christ, in Christ.
They will do so at the Jesuits’ Manresa House in Montevideo, together with the novices of the Society of Jesus, until August 6th, to encounter the Lord.
We accompany them with our prayer, that He may accompany them in a special way during this month of retreat. 🙏
July 1st. 110 years since Pilar returns to the Fat July 1st. 110 years since Pilar returns to the Father’s house.
She wasn't perfect. She isn't a saint. And that's exactly why she speaks to us today.
Because the Lord doesn't need perfect people. He works through our weaknesses just as much as our strengths.
Without Mother Pilar and Saint Raphaela Mary, there would be no Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. No us, today, all over the world 🌍
Her last words? "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus." "Thank you, thank you, thank you."
Now it's our turn to thank the Lord for Mother Pilar 🙏 May she teach us her humility and how to ask for forgiveness.
Intercede for all the Handmaids of the SHJ, wherever they are and for all those looking for their vocation.
🎊 A new joy for the congregation! On June 27, Ot 🎊 A new joy for the congregation!
On June 27, Ota, our sister from East Timor, made her perpetual profession in Balide. A total YES to the Lord, at any cost — surrounded by her community sisters, her family, and her father who accompanied her from heaven.
« Take and eat: this is my body. » Ota chose this word of Christ to express her rootedness in the Eucharist at the heart of her life as a Handmaid of His Sacred Heart. As Handmaids, we are called to receive ourselves from the Body of Christ in daily Eucharist and adoration… and to give ourselves in turn as bread for those around us, especially the most vulnerable. 🍞
Ota is the last of the 14 sisters who made their third probation this year to make her final profession.
🙏 Let us pray for each of them: Stella, Margaret, Ayana, Ashna, Teresa, Dulce, Leonor, Geni, Thư, Lừng, Ngân, Caterina, Mitch and Ota.
Let us also pray for all those in formation and all those in discernment. 💛
