MEETING NEW SUPERIORS. CAMEROON

MEETING NEW SUPERIORS. CAMEROON

On April 2nd, we began the first formation meeting for new superiors in Bikop, Cameroon. The new superiors of the circumscriptions of Atlantic Europe, Spain, Italy and Africa are present, a total of 19 Sisters including part of the General Team.

We began with a few introductory words from Sr. Rosario Fernández Villarán, reminding us of the historical itinerary of these formations of superiors and inviting us to make a personal process in the formation of these days.

The rest of the day we delved into our personal experience as superiors and worked in groups on the principles of our form of government.

The next two days were dedicated to deepening our style of government and the mission of the local superior. In addition, we had a whole morning dedicated to the issue of conflict resolution and another to good treatment. There is a very rich sharing and involvement of all the Sisters, which brings us all a lot of light on the various themes and also consoles and encourages us in our mission.

Also one afternoon we enjoyed a nice canoe ride on the Nyong River as well as a walk through the rainforest.

We are grateful for the climate of simplicity and trust, and the sharing of each Sister, feeling that we are on the way as a universal body.
